Keri Alcorn, The King's University, Women's Volleyball

Marmot Basin/Hostelling International Jasper Athlete of the Week for February 13 - 19, 2017

In Keri Alcorn’s final regular season game, the fifth year left side, was awarded Player of the Game on both Friday and Saturday night.

The Eagles captain led her team offensively with a total of 27 kills for the weekend; 16 of which were scored Saturday night in front of a home crowd, an impressive 5.3 kills per set. Overall, Keri finished the season leading the North division in both kills per set (3.79) and aces per set (0.77). She is also 4th in the North division for digs per set (2.67).

Not only is Alcorn a very talented player, but she is someone who leads with humility and relentless determination. Her leadership and competitive fire are the heart of the Eagles squad and is what inspires the younger players on the team to follow her example.

We extend our best wishes and congratulations to Keri Alcorn for an outstanding 5 years in the ACAC!
