Brett Day played a large role in the RDC Women’s Curling team’s gold medal victory at the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Curling National Championships in Camrose. After the women’s team finished the round robin with a 4-3 record, they elevated their game in the playoffs. In the semi-finals, the Queens defeated the top seeded Fanshawe Falcons 7-5. The RDC women won 7-6 over Concordia to claim national gold. Brett was named the CCAA Women’s Curling All-Star Second.
Day is a second year Bachelor of Science in Nursing student from Kyle, Saskatchewan.
