Chase Thudium had another strong week on the ice, recording four points. The five-foot-eleven left winger helped the RDC Kings go a perfect 3-0. In Wednesday’s 6-2 victory over the MacEwan University Griffins, Chase struck on the power play, which turned out to be the game-winning-goal. Then on Friday in Saskatchewan, the Business Administration student helped lead the Kings to a dominant 7-1 victory over the Briercrest College Clippers.
He recorded one goal and two assists, including a helper on the winning goal. Despite playing limited minutes this past Saturday due to injury, the student-athlete from Sylvan Lake played a role in the 4-3 road win, and finished the regular season as one of the premier goal scorers in Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Men’s Hockey. Chase finished tied for first with 18 goals and second in the league with 37 points, only one back of SAIT’s Dean Allison.
