GPRC is honoured to host the 2016-17 Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Cross-Country Running Championships.  The top runners from Alberta will compete to determine this year's top male and female runners.  The top runners will continue on to CCAA Cross-Country Running Nationals at Sault Ste. Marie - Crimson Ridge, hosted by Sault College, November 11-12, 2016. 


Wapiti Nordic Ski Trails – Biathlon Stadium
Grande Prairie, AB 

From Grande Prairie, travel south on Wapiti Road (Highway 40) past the city limits, through the lights atHwy 668/Township Rd 710, until you see Camp Tamarack on your left. Just past Camp Tamarack, turnright off Highway 40 on Township Rd 704A, travel 50m until you get to the T-intersection. Turn left andtravel about 1.5 kms on Range Road 62/Township Rd 704. The Biathlon Stadium will be on your right atthe top of the hill, about 200m beyond the Steve Cooper Lodge.

The Wapiti Nordic Ski Trails is the venue for the championship. 

Please note: We will not have access to any indoor shelters. Be prepared for inclement weather. Washrooms will be portable toilets located at the Biathlon stadium.  


There will be snacks and drinks supplied upon the completion of the race graciously sponsored by Save On Foods.
