2019 ACAC Golf Championship: Day 3

The Final Day of the 2019 ACAC Golf Championships saw athletes pushing throuhg despite the cold weather and bitter wind. After the first 9 holes, Kassidy Turcotte (CUE) pushed her way into the leading posistion in the Women's division with Kennedy Turcotte (CUE) moving into second place and Carey MacLean (SAIT) into third. For the Men, Justin Berget (MU) held his lead in first with Michael Harrison (UAA), Stephen Christensen (MU) and Chase Broderson (MHC) in a three-way tie for second.

Once the final scores were tabulated, some of the highlights from the weekend included Stephen Christenson (MU) and Caleb Kinch (MHC) both holding a 3-hole streak for Birdie or Better, while Kent Lesko (PC) and Braden Clarkson (UAA) both scored Eagles on Day 2, Hole 1. Justin Berget (MU) led the Men's Division in Birdies, with a total of 14 over the three rounds, while Stephen Christenson (MU), Brady Johnson(UAA) , and Caleb Kinch (MHC) were tied in second with a total of 10. Tashel Scantlebury (SAIT) scored the only Eagle in the Women's Division during the second round. The next day, both Nicole Schultz (MHC) and Kassidy Turcotte (CUE) held a 2-hole Birdie Streak during the third and final round.

The top two Men's Teams and top 3 Women's Teams, as well as top two male and top two female golfers will be competing in the CCAA Nation Golf Championship October 14-18 in Montreal, QC.
