Camrose, AB - The Augustana Vikings Men's Basketball team finished off their last 2018 regular season game strong, winning 95-56 against the visiting Kings Eagles.
With a great start the Vikings took an early lead which put them up 25-12 after the first quarter.
The Eagles made two big three pointers to kick off their scoring in the second quarter but the Vikings managed to out score them by 16 points leading 53-24 at half time.
Putting up a consistent 12 points per quarter the Eagles kept chugging along while the Vikings extended their lead to 78-36 in the third period.
In the last quarter the Eagles outscored the Vikings 20-17 but it was not enough to recover from the huge lead Augustana acquired. Final decision was 95-56.
Towo Tope-Adedipe, first year history student from Lagos, was awarded Player of the Game for the Eagles with 4 points, 8 rebounds, a block and a steal. On the Augustana side the Player of the Game Award went to second year psychology student from Saskatoon Saskatchewan, Jake Frostrad, with 6 points, 4 rebounds, a block and a steal.
