Eagles lose at home versus the Vikings

Last night, The King's University Eagles took on the Augustana Vikings at home. The Eagles fell to the Vikings, as the Vikings opened their season up the previous night. The Eagles are looking to return to the win column as they. have lost two straight.

In the first quarter, the Vikings started off the game hitting their first couple shots, but the Eagles Defence kept them in it. The offence of the Eagles awoken as the quarter went on, as they were able to comeback and finish the quarter in the lead 21-20.
In the second, both teams looked to take hold of this tightly contested game. The pressure of the Vikings looked to catch the Eagles off guard as the Vikings were able to gain and open up their lead. The Vikings were able to sustain the pressure till the end as they finished the half 43-36.
At the beginning of the second half, the Eagles continued to push as they trailed by 7 points. But the Vikings continued their momentum as they looked like they could not miss, as they pushed their lead 72-55.
In the fourth quarter, the Eagles battled as they tried to trim the Viking lead, but the it was just to much as the Vikings take the game with a final score of 89-72.

The Eagles look towards a fresh start next week, as they take on the Lakeland Rustlers, away from home November 1 @ 8pm.
