TKU Men's Volleyball team looked to shake off a disappointing loss as they took on the Concordia Thunder. The Thunder are also looking to shake of a two game losing streak as they took on the Eagles away from home. In the first set, both teams came out firing as each team battled tooth and nail for each point. But in the end, the Thunder came out on top 25-22. In the second set, the Thunder were able to take an early lead off the back of #17 Kenan Fortsey's powerful serve, as they took it 25-18. In the third, the Eagles began picking their game up and sucked the momentum out of the Thunder as they took another tight set, 25-20. With the momentum on their back the Eagles pushed on and quickly took the fourth set, 25-14. In the fifth, it was all the Eagles as they won point after point and were able to complete the come back and take the deciding set, 15-9.
TKU Eagles will be trying to end the first half of the season strong as they play tomorrow versus the Thunder in the rematch of tonight's game.
