The third set would be a turning point in the game. "I told my guys to just stick to our game plan, we just lost two close games. Don't panic," said Vikings head coach, Stephen Leggitt.
The Vikings would stop the bleeding getting on the board by taking set three 25-21. They rode that momentum into the fourth set defeating the Kings 25-19, tieing the match at two sets apiece.
Augustana continued to roll in the fifth set, as they would end up taking the set (15-12) and match.
"We need to go home. We need to get something to eat. We need to get a good night sleep, to get ready for tomorrow. This was a big win for us," said Leggitt.
