Eagles continue their winning ways vs. the Wolves

The King's University Eagles are looking to continue their great form against the Grand Prairie Wolves. The Eagles were able to sweep their weekend taking both matches 3-0, and a wild 3-2 game.

In the first set, both teams came out strong as each team battled for every point. Until #11, Carter Roflik, went on a mini serving run. Everything he put in seemed to baffle the Wolves, which the Eagles capitalized on, finishing the set 25-21 capped off by a massive middle hit by #13 Tyssen Voogd.

In the second set, the Eagles brought the momentum they built from the first set into this one, as they started the set off very strong. The Wolves, looked to come back, but #13 Tyssen Voogd looked like he could do no wrong, as the Eagles were able to take the set 25-14.

In the third set, it was more of the same for the Eagles, as they continued their momentum into the third. The Eagles looked as though they would score on every possession. The Wolves put up a valiant effort, but it was just not enough, as the Eagles took the set 25-14, and the match 3-0.

The Eagles will be looking to finish their weekend with another big win as they play the Grand Prairie Wolves once more, Nov. 2 @ 3pm, at home.
