Wolves upset Rustlers

The Lakeland College men's Rustlers were looking to head into the Christmas break with their best record in 10 years. To do that they would have to sweep the hungry wolves.

The Rustlers were looking to come out strong and take advantage of the first set. Pushing the Wolves pace the Rustlers started strong. With the Wolves chasing most of the set Rustlers would just end up playing side out.

The second set the Wolves would come out hungry and ready to prove a point. With them taking a lead early in the game they wouldn't look back. However, the Rustlers wouldn't shy away. The Wolves would persevere and take the set 25-23 over the Rustlers tying the game at
1-1.

The Rustlers would come out looking for revenge. With the Wolves taking an early 5 point lead it looked like the Rustlers were losing ground on the wolves. But with the veteran squad and leaders like Matt Peck, the Rustlers would erase the Wolves lead and get them right back into the game. with the momentum in their favour, they would close the set-out 25-23.

Wolves would look to come back and tie the game at two apiece. With the Wolves taking a commanding lead in the 4th set it would be up to the rustlers to come back into the game. Trailing 16-11 the Rustlers had there work cut out for them. The Wolves would go ahead and finish the set 25-16

The Wolves Would Finish the comeback and capture the first win of the semester with a 15-8 5th set win.
