The TKU Eagles took on the Concordia Thunder in their final home game of the season. It was also senior's night for the Eagles.
In the first quarter, the Eagles soared high as they came out to a very early lead against the Thunder, who were still looking to clinch a berth in provincials. The Eagles offense could not be stopped as they ended the quarter 20-12.
In the second, the tables turned as the Thunder outscored the Eagles 20-6 and took the lead into half, 32-26.
In the third, both teams battled hard as neither could find the edge against the other.The Thunder were able to hold on to their 6 point lead going into the final quarter, 53-47.
In the fourth, the Eagles began their come as they came out strong offensively and defensively. In the last two minutes, the Thunder lead was just cut down to a single point, but the second quater deficit was to much to over come, as the Thunder took the game 66-64.
TKU Eagles will play their final game tomorrow, away from home against the Concordia Thunder at 6pm.
