St. Mary's University Lightning  and  Medicine Hat College Rattlers (18-3) suit up for the toughest game in tournament play....the early morning 10 a.m. encounter.

In 2018-2019 ACAC regular season action the two South Division teams met three times with the Rattlers dominating the series with scores of 78-56, 66-47 and 76-52.

Entertaining opening 10 minutes as it is raining threes with both teams swishing three.

St. Mary's press coughs up four steals.

Super quick period with only six fouls whistled down.

Lightning 5 of 9 from beyond 3 point arc and Rattlers 5 of 13. St. Mary's perfect 6-of-6 from charity stripe and Rattlers 5 of 9.

Emily Wagner leads St. Mary's with 15 points shooting an impressive two-of-two from three points, three-of-three from the free throw line. Kiana Mintz has dropped 11 for the Rattlers.

With Morgan Muir controlling the tempo the Rattlers go on a 13-to-2 point run with St. Mary's coach Steve Shoults calling timeout.

Lightning come back and go on their own 7-to-2 run with Rattlers coach Clayton Nielsen now signaling for a time out his team up 50-49.

Lightning rimming out many inside shots.  Shot clock violation with 1:58 left against Lightning down 82-75.
