The King's University Eagles took on the Keyano College Huskies in their first game coming off their bye weekend. The Eagles in their last game, had and offensive outburst as they defeated the Grand Prairie Wolves. The Huskies, second in the north, looked to start their final weekend off strong against a well rested Eagles squad.In the first half, the Eagles came out flying displaying their well rounded defensive game, against the very strong offence of the Huskies. The game stayed very close until the Huskies were able to build on their lead. In the late stages of the half, the Eagles were able to go on run of their own as they were able to cut the Huskies lead down to single digits, as the Huskies hold on to a 38-32 lead going into the second half.In the second half, the Eagles came out flying coming out of the half, as they looked to cut down the Huskies lead. The Huskies battled tooth and nail to keep their lead. In the final quarter, the Huskies were able to on one final run as they pulled away, taking the win 76-62.
The Eagles will look to end their semester off with a win as they take on the Keyano Huskies in their rematch, November 30th, at The King's University Gym, @ 1pm.
