TKU Women's Volleyball team looked to stay on top of the North Division as they took on the Concordia Thunder, Friday night. The Eagles came off a big win versus the previous leaders, Lakeland Rustlers in the previous weekend. The Thunder were looking to extend their winning streak to three against a tough opponent. In the first set, both teams were playing a tightly contested match, until the Eagles were able to capitalize on a couple of the Thunder mistakes, and won the first set 25-12. In the second set, it was more of the same as the Thunder and TKU kept it tight at first, but the Eagles were able to take control and win 25-12. In the third, the Eagles started out fast and came out with a substantial lead. The Thunder tried to come back from it, but were unable to as TKU took the 3rd set 25-14.
TKU Eagles will play their last game of the semester tomorrow versus the Thunder in the rematch of tonight's game.
