Trojans can't finish off sweep of Rattlers

CALGARY, ALTA., (Nov. 24, 2018) — After winning 3-0 on Friday night, things did not go as smoothly on Saturday.

The Trojans were beaten 3-1 (25-23, 25-17, 24-26, 25-20) by the visiting Medicine Hat College Rattlers in their Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) game played inside SAIT's Campus Centre.

"That may have been in our minds a little bit. I'm not sure, said Trojans head coach Art O'Dwyer when asked if his team took the Rattlers too lightly on Saturday. "For some reason, our execution was really off in every area. I don't have the stats in front of me, but I don't think (Medicine Hat) earned too many points."

SAIT falls to 8-4 on the year. Med Hat improves to 7-5.

The loss comes 24 hours after a great game by the Trojans, which makes Saturday's effort all that more confusing.

"We played as well as we have all year on Friday, and tonight for us to go out there like that was tough to take," O'Dwyer added.
