In the rematch of last night's game between the King's University Eagles and the Grand Prairie Regional College Wolves, the Eagles will be looking to get back into the win column, while the Wolves are looking to double up on the top ranked Eagles.
In the first set, the Eagles were able to get out to an early lead. But like last night, the Wolves were able to climb their way back. Neither team looked to give the other any sort of advantage over their team, as each team battled for every point. Mid way through the set, the Eagles were able to capitalize on some errors, as they were able to gain back the lead and keep it, as they took the set 25-15.
In the second set, the Eagles brought their momentum into the next set as they took the first three points in the set. But the Wovles, did not let that deter them as they were able to tie the game back up. The Eagles were able to up their game as they saw their opponents up theirs. The Eagles took the lead and did not look back as they took the second set, 25-18.
In the third set, the Wolves came out strong, as the took an early lead of their own. But the Eagles did not want a repeat of yesterday's match as they battled back to tie the game up and squash any momentum that the Wolves were able to muster up. Both teams continued to battle for each, but the Eagles were able to edge out the Wolves in the set, 25-22 and take the match in straight sets, 3-0.
The Eagles will look to continue their winning ways as they face the Concordia University Thunder at home, November 9 @ 6pm.
