Lakeland college hosted the GrandPraire Wolves in their second game of there doubleheader. With the Rustlers winning dominantly last night the wolves would look to come back strong and tie the series.
The Wolves would come out strong in the first set. Passing well and making little errors the Wolves were looking sharp. With the Rustlers fighting from behind for most of the set, they would need some momentum to get back into the game. The Wolves would take the first set 25-21 and take a 1-0 lead.
The Rustlers would look to come out strong and take it to the Wolves in the second set. With a similar back and forth affair the Wolves would hold onto a lead for most of the game. until the Rustlers would tie the set up at 23-23. With the Wolves scoring the last two points they would take the lead in the game 25-23 and a 2-0 lead over Lakeland.
The Rustlers weren't ready to go down without a fight winning a commanding 3rd set to take the game into the 4th with a 2-1 lead for the Wolves.
In the fourth set, the Rustlers looked to tie the game up and force a 5th set. With key serving runs by the Rustlers, they were able to separate themselves from the pack. The Rustlers would go out and win the 4th set 25-10 and force a final set.
The Rustlers would go on and close out the 5 set and get the reverse sweep to clinch a 2-0 weekend with a final set score of 15-8
