Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus were in the building for a children's function.

Wonder if they will leave behind an early Christmas present for the Huskies women's volleyball team as they host once again the powerhouse No. 3 CCAA nationally ranked The Kings University Eagles from Edmonton.

Set 1 Keyano  20 Kings 25

Extended rally on first serve of the game.

Huskies a bit off on the attack but stay close with their first time out down 10-15.

Huskies' Abigail Vandop (6' Middle 1st  Nursing Chilliwack B.C.) playing well for the home side as they take their second time out down 17-22.

Set 2 Keyano 23   Kings 25

Eagles having problems on reception.

Huskies setter Mackenzie Stokes (5'3" 3rd Social Work Fort McMurray Alberta) caught the Edmonton side off guard with a second hit dump over net to open court.

Eagles  take a timeout down 3-7.

Lauren Huntley (5'11 Outside 2nd Education Calgary Alberta) gets not a Jack, Queen or King but a service Ace as Huskies go up 10-5.

Eagles slowly regroup and take the lead 19-16 with Huskies coach Kira Sutcliffe signaling for a timeout.

A game of ebbs-and-flows as tied at 23-23 the Eagles timeout.

Eagles'  Kristyn Shannon and Lauren Kroetsch benefitting from the sets from Jada Lea.

Set 3  Keyano 20  Kings 25

Huskies up 7-3. They have to stay focused.

Once again as was the case in Set 2, the Eagles take a timeout.

The visitors score six straight to go up 9-7.

Huskies take a time out down 16-19. Once again Eagles setter Lea playing solid.

Home Hardware/Boston Pizza Player of the Game is MacKenzie Stokes . Eagles POG is Lea.
