Eagles back in win column vs. Huskies

Eagles back in win column vs. Huskies

The King's University Eagles team is looking to bounce back as they were swept by the Vikings last weekend. Their opponents tonight, the Keyano College Huskies, are coming off a big 5 set win over the GPRC Wolves, and looking to continue that momentum tonight.

In the first set, the Huskies came out  early looking to show the Eagles who the top dog is. But the Eagles did not let that phase them, as they push through the early adversity and were able to take the lead and take the set, 25-16.

In the second set, the Eagles were poised to runaway with the set, as they created a big early lead. But the Huskies, battled back, not going down quietly as they battled back later on in the set. But the lead was to large as the Eagles were able to finish off the set strong, and take the set 25-17.

In the third set, the Eagles looked to run away with the game as they took an early lead once again, but the Huskies did not want to lay down as they came back to steal the set away from the Eagles 25-19.

In the fourth set, the Eagles said "enough is enough" as they pulled out all the stops to take the Huskies down in the set, 25-11, and the match 3 set to 1.

The Eagles will be looking to make it a weekend sweep as they take on the Keyano College Huskies back at home, February 1 @ 1pm.
