Eagles finish weekend double over Huskies

The King's University Eagles took on the Keyano College Huskies this afternoon, for the rematch of their last night's match. The Eagles looked solid, as they defeated the Huskies in 4 sets. The Huskies look to avenge their loss this afternoon.

In the first set, the Eagles were not playing around. They came firing on all cylinders as they took it to the Huskies. The Huskies, fought valiantly, but the Eagles just looked to hot to handle as the Eagles took the set, 25-12.

In the second set, the Huskies did not want to just roll over to the Eagles, as they came firing. They were able to come out with an early lead, stunning the Eagles. TKU were able to rally back as they took the lead from the Huskies, and looked to run away with the set. But the Huskies push through, as they tried to come back from the Eagles lead, but the lead was too much as the Eagles took the set, 25-22.

In the third set, the Eagles looked unstoppable as they looked to finish the set off quick. The Huskies had other ideas as they battled tooth and nail to the end, but the Eagles were just too much as the Eagles took the set 25-22, and the match in straight sets.

The Eagles will be looking to continue their streak as they take on the Concordia University Thunder, at home Feb. 7 at 6pm.
