Rattlers Win at Home

The Rattler Men and the Olds Broncos faced off on a snowy night in Medicine Hat. A Decent crowd was still in attendance despite the weather. The Game started off with the Broncos scoring early, jumping out to a quick lead. The Rattlers quickly erased this deficit but the game was very well contested throughout the first quarter. Neither team establishing a foothold on the game. The rattlers took a one point lead into the second.

In the second frame, The back and forth game continued. The Rattlers were controlling the rebounds and started to open up a small lead. Two late 3 pointers saw the Broncos cut into the rattler lead reducing the deficit to 4. The rattlers held a slight lead 36-32 going into half.

The second half saw a different Rattlers team come out. Baskets started falling and the rattlers opened up a bigger lead. The broncos seemed to have the opposite luck as nothing seemed to fall. The Rattlers again controlled the ball and led 62-46 at the end of the third.

The fourth quarter looked more like the first half than the 3rd quarter. The broncos found their groove and started making more outside shots. They closed in on the Rattlers but were too far in the lead to come back. The Rattlers won 79-69 in a game that was even more lopsided than the score suggested.
