Lethbridge College is excited to host the 2022 Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Soccer Championships. Taking part in the event will be six (6) of the province's best collegiate men's soccer teams, who will compete to see who will represent the province at the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) National Men's Soccer Championship held at Langara College in Langley, BC from Nov. 9-12, 2022.

The town of Raymond has long been known for its dedication to sport. Since opening in 2016, Victoria Sports Park has become a major hub for Southern Alberta recreation. Comet Stadium, the host field for the 2022 ACAC Soccer Championships, features a state-of-the art artificial turf surface, artificial lights and has stadium seating for over 1200 spectators. The facility also has paved parking for 220 vehicles. A concession, dressing rooms and washrooms will be available on site.

Championship Info

Lethbridge College (LETH) and Kodiaks Athletics are proud to host the 2022 ACAC Men’s & Women’s Soccer Championships, presented by Southern Alberta Homes, from Oct. 27 to 30, 2022. All roads lead south as the best teams from across the conference will compete for a coveted conference championship and a spot at the 2022 CCAA National Championships. Lethbridge College and the entire southern Alberta soccer community is thrilled for the opportunity to host an ACAC soccer championship tournament for the first time in school history. All games will be played at the state-of-the-art Comet Stadium in Raymond, which is located roughly 20 minutes south of Lethbridge. We are proud to work in partnership with our local Indigenous community to acknowledge the championships will be played on traditional Blackfoot territory.

Tournament Info

The tournament is a four-day event starting on Oct. 27 with team practices held at Comet Stadium in Raymond, followed by the 2022 ACAC Soccer Awards Ceremony and Banquet starting at 6:30 p.m. inside the Val Matteotti Gymnasium on Lethbridge College’s main campus.

Game action gets underway with four quarterfinals on Oct. 28, followed by semifinal action on Oct. 29. The ACAC bronze and gold medal matches take place on Oct. 30.
