ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Samantha Langdon is third year left side who is in her 3rd year of a Bachelor of Arts degree at the King’s University.
Against the Concordia ‘Thunder’ this past weekend, Sam had an outstanding weekend with a total of 34 kills in 7 sets (4.85 kills/set) with a kill efficiency of 30%. She also had 20 digs and 2 stuff blocks to help lead her team to win both matches, and receive Player of the Game honours on Saturday, February 7.
Langdon is currently 3rd in kills in the conference with a total of 195 for the season. Sam is a very dynamic all round player whose consistent play has been instrumental to the Eagles success this season.
As an offensive leader, Langdon not only brings a positive energy to the court on offense, but is relentless on defense as well. Congratulations to Sam Langdon for achieving the honour of ACAC Athlete of the Week!
