Top Northern Team to Host 2026 ACAC Men’s Basketball Championship
March 5-7, 2026

The 2026 ACAC Men’s Basketball Championship is heading north! The top team in the North Division at the end of the regular season will earn hosting rights for this year’s championship weekend, where the best men’s basketball programs in the conference will compete for the ACAC title and a spot at the 2026 CCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship in British Columbia from March 18-21, 2026.

Championship Tournament Schedule

Thursday, March 5

• Session 1:
  • 1:00 PM Match 1 - N2 vs S3
  • 3:00 PM Match 2 - S1 vs N4
• Session 2:
  • 6:00 PM Match 3 - S2 vs N3
  • 8:00 PM Match 4 - N1 vs S4*

*The host, Lakeland College, reserves the right to schedule the 8:00 p.m. game on Thursday, March 5. Thursday’s tournament draw will be adjusted accordingly to ensure the host is featured in the main event game.

Friday, March 6

• Session 3:
  • 1:00 PM Match 5 - loser Match 1 vs loser Match 2
  • 3:00 PM Match 6 - loser Match 3 vs Match 4
• Session 4:
  • 6:00 PM Match 7 - winner of Match 1 vs winner of Match 2
  • 8:00 PM Match 8 - winner of Match 3 vs winner of Match 4

Sunday, March 7

• Session 5:
  • 1:00 PM - 5th/6th place match - winner of Match 5 vs winner of Match 6
  • 3:00 PM - Bronze Medal Match - loser of Match 7 vs loser of Match 8
• Session 6:
  • 6:00 PM - Gold Medal Match - winner of Match 7 vs winner of Match 8

Event Admission Prices

Tournament Passes only available on the first day of competition at the door. There will be no online sales for passes.

Parking

For the 2026 ACAC Men’s Basketball Championship, teams and spectators can park in either the front parking lot or the gymnasium parking lot in non-designated or non-electrified parking spots at no charge. Please do not park in energized spots or loading zones. 

Team buses may drop off at the gymnasium entrance and park in the parking lot by the playground or in the front parking lot.
