Chloe Sutherland-Deklerk, Concordia Thunder, Women's Basketball

Chloe Sutherland continued her dominant play for the Thunder this past weekend, as the team played their final two regular season games before the ACAC Basketball Championships. Despite losing to NAIT, Chloe showed her experience, composure, and hustle and found a way to put up big numbers against a tough Ooks squad, showing why she has earned the trust and admiration of both her teammates and coaches. 

 

In Game One on Friday, Chloe earned herself a double-double by putting up 17 points and getting up for 12 rebounds. Chloe also added six assists and five steals on the night in an 80-71 loss. 

 

In Game Two on Saturday, Chloe exploded offensively, putting up a season high 34 points, while also adding two rebounds and one steal to her totals in a 61-68 loss. For her efforts, Chloe was named the Thunder's Player of the Game.

 

Chloe is from Millet, AB and currently in her third year of a Bachelor of Science degree at Concordia University of Edmonton.
