2026 ACAC Women's Hockey Top Scorer
Edmonton, AB (March 13, 2026) –
WOMEN'S HOCKEY TOP SCORER OF THE YEAR, KEYRA BUZIAK:
The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) is proud to announce Keyra Buziak of the Lakeland Rustlers as the ACAC Women’s Hockey Top Scorer for the 2025-2026 season.
“Keyra, offensively, has had a record-breaking year,” Head Coach Morgan Mann said. “She now owns the record for goals in a single season and tied the record for points in a season!
Buziak, in her third season with the Rustlers, broke the goals record by hitting the back of the net 28 times. She also tied the single season points record at 43. Despite several great players lighting the lamp this year, Buziak scored enough goals to win the scoring title without needing a single assist.
Her first notable game was a four-goal performance against Olds on October 19, and she would go on to post 4 points in a game two more times, as well 3 points five times. In the final weekend of the regular season against SAIT, she scored 5 goals and added 2 assists. Buziak has continued scoring in the postseason, leading all players in goals (6) and points (8).
Keyra Buziak is in her third year at Lakeland College, where she is taking Crop Technology. This award was recognized at the third game of the ACAC Finals, hosted by Lakeland in Lloydminster, Alberta.
