TKU Women's Doubles & NAIT Men's Doubles Gold Medalist

Olds, AB (March 6, 2022) - The Women's Doubles draw was played with six teams entered into the event.

The Women's Doubles finals had The King's University Eagles duo of Abigail Ledda and Cecilia Wolski knock off the host Olds College Broncos pair of Priyanna Ramdhani and Abbey Taylor in the gold medal match. The silver medal was Ramdhani's second medal of the day as she received a bronze medal in the Women's Singles event.

The bronze medal match saw Erica Jorgensen and Chanel Simrose of The King's University Eagles defeat Clariel Chiu and Malindi Pilgrim of the NAIT Ooks in straight sets.

The Men's Doubles event saw Brandon Gendre and Jay Patel of the NAIT Ooks rise to the top of the podium as they defeated David Jay and Alex Stewart of The King's University Eagles in the gold medal match. The gold medal for Patel would be his second medal of the day as he also won Bronze in the Men's singles event.

The bronze medal match followed with the Concordia University Thunder duo of Brandon Morris and Salvador Robles- Gonzales taking home the hardware as they defeated the Olds College Broncos pair of Tye Belanger and Brayden Berdahl.
