ACAC Golf Championships – Day 3 Results
EDMONTON, AB (September 25, 2022) – The third and final round of the 2022 ACAC Golf Championships teed off Sunday afternoon. A warm and sunny day, the golfers enjoyed the best weather of the weekend, and it showed in the scored.
In the men's individual event, SAIT's Brodie Shields-Tyler shot a five under 67 in the third round – the best score of the round. This score also moved him up into first place, and gave him the individual men's title, finishing four shots under par on the weekend. Medicine Hat's Chase Broderson had the second best round on Sunday, shooting an even 72. This put him even for the weekend and gave him the silver medal in the men's event. Medicine Hat's Colby Friedrich shot a one over 73 on Sunday to capture the bronze medal. Broderson and Freidrich's efforts helped Medicine Hat win the 2022 ACAC Men's Golf team championship. SAIT finished second in the men's team event, with Concordia capturing the bronze.
On the women's side, Concordi's Ella Gifford maintained her lead throughout the weekend to capture the gold medal in the women's individual event. SAIT's Kristine Dixon played the best round of the women's on Sunday, and rode it to move into second place to take the silver medal. Medicine Hat's Libby Bourassa stayed in the top three to capture the bronze medal. Dixon's excellent third round on Sunday also carried SAIT to the women's team event championship, with Medicine Hat capturing the silver and Concordia capturing the bronze.

The mixed team event was the closest of the weekend. The Medicine Hat Rattlers narrowly edged out the SAIT Trojans by three strokes to capture the gold medal – giving the Trojans the silver medal. Concordia rounded out the top three to grab the bronze medal.
