OOKS SPLIT WEEKEND SERIES WITH VIKINGS

EDMONTON, ALTA - The NAIT Ooks hosted the rematch of the weekend series versus the Augustana Vikings Saturday night, after the 82-63 victory by the Vikings on Friday.

The Ooks, led by fourth year guard Ryan Delwo, came up with the 90-84 victory over the Augustana Vikings. After a tight first three quarters where the Vikings held the lead by three points (55-52) thanks to a half-court buzzer beater by Nathan Bowie. The Ooks battled back in the fourth quarter scoring 38 points and outscoring the Vikings by 9 points to win the game.

Player of the Game for the Vikings was awarded to, third year guard, Nathan Bowie who had a double-double with 26 points at 10 rebounds. While for the Ooks, fourth year guard, Ryan Delwo was awarded Player of the Game with 33 points and 5 assists. With this win, the Ooks move to 5 wins and 3 losses while the Vikings go to 4 wins and 6 losses in the season. The Vikings will head into bye weekend next weekend, while the Ooks will visit the Concordia Thunder on Friday at 8:00pm.
