The GPRC Wolves welcomed the Concordia Thunder to the gymnasium Friday night for a double header on the weekend. The Wolves also welcomed ALL Wolves Alumni.
After the 1st quarter 22-18 for the Thunder- After a back and forth first quarter, the Thunder had the lead. The second quarter had a lot of excitement as Ryan Mclaren scored 8 points in the second quarter as the Thunder took a 35 to 28 lead into the half.
The 3rd quarter was dominated by the Thunder. Both GPRC #8 Liam O'Hallahan and Thunders #7 Keaton Souster had 6 points each. It ended Thunder up 61-43.
#3 Jonathon Mueller started off the quarter with a bucket. The Wolves then hit back to back 3 pointers to bring the Wolves within 11 points. Down the stretch the Wolves made it very exciting. #8 Liam O'Hallahan had a 3-point play to come within 9 points and then #24 Jeremy Bishop dunks to put the score within 7 points. Wolves come back runs out of time and the Thunder win 72-68.
The Mr. Mikes Player of the Game for the GPRC Wolves was #22 Tucker McLeod. The Mr. Mikes Player of the Game for the Concordia Thunder was #7 Keaton Souster.
