The Wolves hosted the Thunder for their second game of their weekend series. The 1st quarter was close. The teams battled back and forth and kept it close. 20-15 for the Thunder after 10 minutes of play.
2nd quarter started off with #5 Dane Philipenko draining 4 points. The Concordia Thunder responded with a couple points. Concordia lead 26-23. Dane Philipenko beats a few defenders and drives to the hoop for 2. The Thunder went on a 4-0 run to go up 31-25. Wolves couldn't gain ground before half time and it ended Thunder up 35-27.
3rd quarter off to a slow start. No hoops until a few minutes in. Concordia goes on a 4-0 streak to go up 12 points. GPRC #5 responds with a 3-point bucket. Late in the quarter Concordia pulls ahead 49-33 with under 2 minutes to play. The quarter ended the Wolves down 40-50.
Concordia starts the 4th with a 5-0 run. Wolves call a timeout. Dane comes out of the timeout with a 3-point play. 55-43 Wolves. The Thunder pull away and the Wolves are unable to respond. The Thunder win 71-64.
