MBB | Kodiaks thrive at home on Friday night

February 15, 2019 - The Lethbridge Kodiaks competed against the Briercrest Clippers as they played their last Friday home game of the season.

The Kodiaks came on the court ready to dominate and take the win for their team. It did not take long for the Kodiaks to take control and show the fans what they were made of.

The Clippers did not give up as they gave it their all on the court trying to take charge away from the Kodiaks, but it was no match for Lethbridge's offensive plays. Orin Porter Jr. of Lethbridge kicked off the offensive attack in the first half by demonstrating smart plays and sinking baskets when needed.

As the game progressed into the third quarter, the intensity from both teams increased. Aaron Adrian of Briercrest led his team with 18 points earning him player of the game however, this wasn't enough to interrupt the flow the Kodiaks had.

The Briercrest Clippers continued to trail behind Lethbridge in the fourth quarter. Kodiaks second year Lincoln Anderson was an offensive force on the court in Friday's game as he finished the game with 32 points which made him deserving of player of the game. Lethbridge closed the game with a score of 94-58.

The Kodiaks finished the fourth quarter with a little more patience and ease however, they look to come out fierce and full of energy for Saturday's rematch against the Clippers.
