Ooks put up 102 as they defeat Wolves in second straight game

EDMONTON, Alta. - The NAIT Ooks men's basketball team put up 102 points on Saturday afternoon as they defeated the GPRC Wolves 102-78.

The NAIT Ooks found themselves in control early as they outscored the Wolves 58-35 in the opening half. GPRC tried to respond in the second half as NAIT only outscored them by one point, but they were unable to close the large first-half deficit.

The Wolves saw the return of Liam O'Hallahan, who put up a game-high 29 points. The Ooks had four players in double digits led by Sean-Michael Clancey (21) and Will Pittman (19).

"Today was better than yesterday. Grande Prairie has arguably their best player back, so they had a better team on the court. I think we were 10 for 14 from the three-point line in the first half, so that always help," said Ooks' head coach Slav Kornik. "We still have a lot of room to grow defensively, but today was a good step."
