Rustlers Drop Opener against Huskies

Lakeland Men's Rustlers played host to the Keyano Huskies on Friday the 8th. The Rustlers were looking to come out hot after Keyano long trip the day before and get out to an early lead. However, the Rustlers couldn't do that. Keyano came out hot scoring 28 points in the first quarter giving them the lead 28-14 into the 2nd quarter. The Rustlers had a close-quarter but they were still unable to close the gap. With the Rustlers being very unpleased with there performance they came out with a fire under them. However, the Rustlers couldn't close the gap though, they were able to fight back. being down 73-59 going into the fourth quarter the Rustlers looked for a spark of energy with key players being fouled out the Rustlers struggled getting back into the game. With the Rustlers Failed to comeback and lost the game with a final score of 94-80
