The Wolves welcomed The KINGS Eagles to their gym for a pair of games this weekend. Coming off a win Friday night they were hungry for the sweep.
The Wolves take first to the scoreboard with a 3 point make by #8 Liam O'Hallahan. Kings respond with a field goal and a time out. 3 minutes into the game and it remains tied at 3, until Noe Tchomo responds with a 3 point make. Wolves find themselves up 15:7 with 4 minutes to go. Eagles find another gear of offense and the 1st ends Eagles up 21:17.
2nd quarter was tight. The Wolves took the lead half way through, after Jeremy Pynn nailed a 3 point make, and they went up 31:26. The Eagles never gave up and continued the offensive push. The half ends 37:37.
The first 3 minutes of the 3rd, both teams exchanged field goals. Score remains tied at 44. The Eagles went on a 3 point make run and put up 9 straight points to go up 11 points. The quarter would end Eagles up 63:51.
4th quarter starts with the Wolves down 12. They cut the deficient to 9 with 7 minutes left. With 5 minutes to go the Eagles are up 6. Both teams exchanged buckets until the Eagles ran away with it. Final score 79:66 Kings Eagles.
