Clippers Strong Third Quarters Leads to Victory

The St. Mary's Lighting squared offf against the Briercrest Clippers on Saturday afternoon in Calgary, with the Clippers taking the win 93-84. A close game at halftime with a score of 37-34 for the Clippers, the Clippers extended their lead with a big third quarter push, winning the quarter 27-27. The Clippers were led by Brandon Tolentino who had a big game with 20 points and 20 rebounds, and also from Jude Shepherd-Hills and his 21 points and 6 rebounds. The Lightning were led by Nick Casagrande and Caleb Jipp who both had 15 points respectively. The Clippers shot 44.4% on the game, and the Lightning shot 37% from the field. The Lightning take on the Olds College Broncos (0-5) and the Lethbridge College Kodiaks (6-0) next weekend.
