Ooks fall Friday night to Thunder

EDMONTON, Alta. – Seemingly having an answer for any run the Ooks produced in the second half of Friday nights game, the Concordia Thunder finished what they started by building an eleven-point half time lead, ultimately coming away with the 92-82 victory.

In a game largely played on even terms, it was a big second quarter from the Thunder, leading by as many as sixteen at one point, outscoring the Ooks by twelve in the quarter to stretch out a lead that they would never relinquish again.

Despite twenty-eight points from ACAC leading scorer Sean-Michael Clancey, the Thunder outplayed the Ooks inside, outscoring them by eight when it came to points in the paint.

The loss dropped NAIT to 6-2 at home on the season, with both losses coming at the hands of the Thunder.
