Rustlers take on a strong lead in the first quarter 33-9. However, the Thunder kept up the pace to end the third quarter 67-52. The Thunder attempted to keep the score close right to the fourth quarter but the rustlers pulled away and won their first game of the season with a strong finish 92-72. Artavius Holiday scored 23 points for the Lakeland College Rustlers and Liam O'Hallahan scored 13 points for the Concordia Thunder. The fans were ecstatic to be able to watch ACAC Basketball again after almost 2 years with no games to watch. The players of the game were Artavis Holiday from the Lakeland Rustlers and Nyasha Mubayiwa from the Concordia Thunder both putting up great numbers and working hard on offence and defence. A great game to start off the ACAC season.
