Kodiaks spoil Rattlers temporary home opener

The Lethbridge Kodiaks Headed into the Medicine Hat Rattlers temporary home at the Family Leisure Center while the Snake Pit gets a facelift. The teams started the game trading baskets early but the Kodiaks were able to get ahead and hold a slight lead. This continued through the quarter with neither team able to grab a firm advantage. The second quarter was more of the same with the Kodiaks able to expand on their small lead. As the Rattlers went in to the half the found themselves down 48-35 at the half. Able to come out and continue to control the rebounds and hit crucial 3 pointers, the Kodiaks added one to their lead in the 3rd. Medicine Hat was continually frustrated inside and dribbled into trouble and had too many unforced errors. This culminated in the fourth where they failed to score in crunch time and could not clean up the boards on either end. As the buzzer went the home side saw a loss of 92-67.
