The Lakeland College Rustlers took on the University of Augustana Vikings Men's Basketball team tonight at Lakeland College in Lloydminster, Alberta,, at 8 pm. After a tough one-point loss last night at Augustana, the Lakeland Rustlers came out tonight in hopes of clinching the final game of the doubleheader weekend. The Rustlers and Vikings battled it out in the first quarter to finish it off 11-14 for the Vikings with significant contributions by Tay Holiday and #11 N. Harder. The Rustlers came out in the second quarter of breaking away from the Vikings,, and they sure did with big plays by both Shaqui Manswell and Isaiah Guerrier to finish the quarter 38-30 for the Rustlers. The Vikings came back into the second quarter with hopes to break away from the Rustlers however fell short. Numerous big plays by N. Bowee off the Vikings and Tay Holiday off the Rustlers. The Rustlers ended up pulling away in the 4th quarter with multiple three pointers by Riley Rathwell to take home the first win of the season with a final score of 84-63. The players of the game were #10 Riley Rathwell off the Lakeland Rustlers and #11 N. Harder off the Augustana Vikings.
