MBB| Kodiaks Take Lightning by Storm in Final Game of The Season 95-64

Kodiaks looked to close out the season with a win over St. Mary's Lightning on Senior Apperception Night.

The Kodiaks were unstoppable in the 1st quarter showing off their offensive and defensive skill. Kodiaks Orin Porter Jr. and Paycen Blackmore were key contributors grabbing 7 points each in the quarter to keep the Lightning out of reach scrambling to gain traction. The Kodiaks didn't give St. Mary's any room to work with leading 30-12 after the 1st quarter.

The Kodiaks controlled the pace of the 2nd quarter putting up point after point. St Mary's struggled to keep up with the Kodiaks, doing everything they could to try and close the gap on Lethbridge, but the Kodiaks continued to shut them down. Lethbridge stayed strong and closed out the first half leading 53-31.

The Kodiaks remained strong in the 3rd quarter keeping the Lightnings offense to a minimum, while the Kodiaks continued to put their offense on display to keep St. Mary's at bay. Kodiaks Leon Schenker put his offense on display for everyone to see as he earned 8 points pushing the Kodiaks even farther ahead as they led 77-42 headed into the 4th and final quarter.

Kodiaks Dawson Atwood lead the charge in the 4th quarter helping seal the deal picking up 8 points in the quarter and 13 on the night against the Lightning who were unable to generate enough offense to close in on the Kodiaks as they were able to keep St. Mary's at bay and close out the season with a victory, defeating the Lightning 95-64
