Into the second quarter, the Kodiaks turned up the energy to leave St. Mary's trailing behind them 29-26. In the third quarter, both teams scored 22 points each, leaving the Kodiaks to remain in the lead. In the last quarter, Lightning and Kodiaks tightened the score and kept the heat up. With seconds remaining on the clock, the Kodiaks made a great play that put them in the lead, and St. Mary's couldn't catch them. They ended with strong performances from both teams, Kodiaks just taking the win with 75-69.
