Rustlers VS. Eagles

The Lakeland College Rustlers take on the Concordia University Eagles tonight at 8 pm at Lakeland College in Lloydminster, Alberta, to end the weekend of play. The Rustlers started off the game with a strong lead against the CUE Eagles. The Rustlers were led by #2 Artavis Holiday with 12 points. The Rustlers finished off the first quarter 22-7. Going into the second quarter, the Concordia University Eagles attempted to lessen the lead of the Rustlers. However, Shaq Manswell led Rustler's defence to execute points on offence. The Concordia Eagles had a few perimeter baskets by Alex MacLean to close in on the Rustlers. The score at the end of the first half of the ball game was 43-28 for the Rustlers. The Eagles made it rain in the second half of the match scoring many points beyond the arc in the third and fourth quarters. The Rustlers hustled hard on defence to make more opportunities on offence, with many points spread evenly across the board. The players of the game were #8 Mike Shelast off the Lakeland Rustlers and #2 Nick Gibb of the King's University Eagles.
