Ooks Defeat Vikings

The NAIT Ooks played against the Augustana Vikings Sunday afternoon at the NAIT Gymnasium. The Ooks win the game against the Vikings 85-68.

The first quarter of play between the Ooks and the Vikings was fast-paced. Both teams played aggressively on both offense and defense. The Ooks lead against the Vikings 27-20 at the end of the first.

In the second quarter, both teams played a competitive game. The Ooks continue to lead the Vikings at the end of the first half, 42-34. In the first half, the Ooks scored more on the Vikings turnovers than the Vikings were on the Ooks turnovers.

In the third quarter of play between the Ooks and Vikings, the aggressive play continued as both teams were in bonus for multiple minutes. The game got heated as #13, Eli Schmuland from the Vikings, received two technical fouls right after one another. The Ooks finished the quarter with a lead of 64-49.

During the fourth quarter, both teams worked towards winning the game. The Ooks held their lead over the Vikings, winning the game 85-68.
