Rustlers host the Ooks

For the third time in 8 days, the Rustlers took to the court against the NAIT Ooks.  On the home court, the Rustlers jumped out to a 21 - 11 lead after the first quarter and led going into the dressing room at the half by a score of 35 - 29.  The Rustlers continued to build on their lead in the third and fourth quarters on their way to a 69 - 45 win.  The Rustlers won the season series 2 games to 1.  Luka Korosec led the Ooks dropping in 12 points and hauling down 5 rebounds for the visitors while Artavis Holiday and Riley Rathwell contributed 18 points each to lead Lakeland to the victory.  The Player of the game for the Ooks was Luka Korosec and for the Rustlers was Artavis Holiday.  Next up for the Ooks is a weekend series with the Grande Prairie Wolves and the Rustlers will finish the season with a game against the King's University Eagles.
