Wolves host the Keyano Huskies for their season opener

The Northwestern Polytechnic Wolves welcomed the Keyano Huskies for a pair of weekend games for their home opener.

Tip off to the Huskies followed by a 2 point make. Huskies take an early lead until #20 Manny IIoka for the Wolves drains a 3, and brings them within 4. A back and forth battle as the quarter ends 20:17 for the Huskies.

Huskies find themselves on a run while the Wolves are unable to respond. Half way through the 2^nd quarter the Wolves are within 10 courtesy of a Manny IIoka with the big dunk. The Huskies would drain a few 3 point shots and go up by 12. 2^nd quarter ends 48:36 for the Huskies.

3^rd quarter action starts with a 3 point play from #10 Manny IIoka and the Huskies respond with the same. Manny dishes to Christian for the 2 point conversion to put the Wolves within 8. 43:51. Keyano's offense dominated the later part of the 3^rd and the Huskies end the quarter up by 22, 73:51.

Huskies ball to start the 4^th quarter. Big steal by Christian Liwanag to Manny IIoka for the dunk, Wolves down by 20. A timeout half way through the 4^th for Wolves. The Wolves battled hard however couldn't get the offense to work. Game ends 87:63 for the Huskies.
