CALGARY, ALTA., (Dec. 3, 2022) - The SAIT Trojans men's basketball team were in need of some good news and they got just that Saturday afternoon.
Fifth-year guard Charlie Conner scored a game-high 24 points as his Trojans stunned the South Division-leading Lethbridge College Kodiaks 84-73 in their Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) matchup played at the Jack Simpson Gymnasium.
SAIT finishes the first semester with a 3-5 mark, while Lethbridge College falls to 9-2.
Kuol Kuol added 20 points and nine rebounds for the Trojans, while Marcus Masters chipped in with 16 points.
Brady Baines and Filip Karanovic each scored 13 points for the Kodiaks.
Conner and Karanovic were named Players of the Game.
