Lakeland scored an identical number of points from the previous evening, but they were much more dominant defensively on Saturday.
The Rustlers started strong against the NWP Wolves in game two of the weekend doubleheader, only allow the visitors to score nine points in the opening quarter. By half, the hosts lead 38-25.
NWP played Lakeland tighter in the second half, but couldn't cut into the lead as the Rustlers came away with a 76-58 win. Four players scored in double digits for the home team, including Noah Simpson with 16.
Seth Salamandyk and Simpson were the POG's.
Lakleand improves to 7-5, just one game back of second place NAIT in the North Division. This weekend, they'll face the King's Eagles.
