The Rustlers got off to a hot start in the first quarter and took the lead early. The score at the end of the quarter was 24-17 for the Rustlers.
Lakeland continued to maintain their lead throughout the second quarter. The Rustlers led 54-41 going into halftime.
In the third quarter, the Rustlers kept their lead intact and went into the final quarter leading the Eagles 75-67.
In the fourth quarter, the Eagles mounted a comeback and took the lead. TKU managed to hold onto their lead and win the game 93-91.
